The UW Medicine 50th Annual Advances in Family Medicine and Primary Care 2022 program provides a comprehensive review of the latest evidence-based developments in family medicine, preventive healthcare, and primary care practice. Developed by the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington School of Medicine, this milestone educational event marks 50 years of delivering high-quality continuing medical education to primary care professionals.
Held virtually from September 12–16, 2022, the course features expert-led presentations covering a broad spectrum of clinical topics commonly encountered in outpatient and primary care settings. The curriculum integrates current clinical guidelines, emerging research findings, and practical management strategies designed to improve patient outcomes across all age groups.
A dedicated Infectious Disease Update Day provides focused education on rapidly evolving infectious disease topics, including sexually transmitted infections, respiratory infections, HIV prevention, urinary tract infections, pediatric infections, and antimicrobial management.
