SCAI 2022 Fellows Courses – Advanced Peripheral Course
Advanced Peripheral Vascular Intervention Training for Interventional Cardiology Fellows
Overview
The SCAI 2022 Fellows Courses – Advanced Peripheral Course is an intensive educational program developed by the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and held during the annual Fellows Courses in Miami, Florida, December 2–6, 2022.
This advanced course focuses on the diagnosis, planning, and endovascular treatment of peripheral vascular disease, providing fellows with practical knowledge required to build a successful peripheral intervention practice after training. Through expert-led lectures, real-world case discussions, procedural reviews, and complication management sessions, participants gain exposure to contemporary techniques used in arterial, venous, and pulmonary vascular interventions.
The curriculum covers lower-extremity peripheral artery disease (PAD), chronic limb-threatening ischemia (CLTI), atherectomy technologies, deep venous interventions, pulmonary embolism treatment, carotid interventions, renal and mesenteric artery disease, vascular access management, and practice development.
