Stems to Sternum Sports Imaging 2022
Stems to Sternum Sports Imaging is an ARRS course covering clinically important anatomy and sports injuries from the extremities to the chest and abdomen. It connects tendon, muscle, ligament, cartilage, bone, and joint pathology with radiography, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
Audience and Learning Outcomes
The official course is intended for radiologists and other health professionals interested in sports-injury imaging. Its stated outcomes are to identify important extremity anatomy, list common sports-injury conditions, recognize their imaging features, and understand the roles of radiography, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.
Course Modules
Module 1: Basics and Beyond—Sports-Related Knee Injury
Knee anatomy and function, cruciate and posterolateral-corner assessment, postoperative meniscus and ACL imaging, and other common athletic knee problems.
