SCAI Scientific Sessions 2024 reviews interventional cardiovascular practice across coronary, congenital, peripheral, and structural heart disease, alongside cath lab leadership. Held May 2–4 at the Long Beach Convention Center in California, the meeting combined live cases, clinical research, case-based education, and scientific discussion. Subjects include imaging-guided PCI, calcium modification, complex coronary intervention, cardiogenic shock, valve procedures, and peripheral vascular treatment. The program also features the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases, Global Case Exchange, SCAI Women in Innovation, and named lectures. It is relevant to interventional cardiologists, congenital and vascular specialists, fellows, and cath lab teams reviewing procedural approaches and professional practice.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants should be better able to:
- Analyze the latest clinical data, scientific research, and evidence-based best practices in interventional cardiology and endovascular medicine.
- Apply procedural guidance and case-based techniques observed during live cases and the Fellows Summit for Complex Cases.
- Evaluate and implement new SCAI clinical documents and guidelines to optimize patient care and clinical workflows.
- Develop advanced interventional expertise across congenital, coronary, peripheral, and structural heart disease specialties.
- Enhance interventional leadership skills and foster international collaboration through the Global Case Exchange.
