Columbia’s 32nd Annual Internal Medicine Update offers a broad review of the conditions encountered in hospital and outpatient practice. The five-day program moves through cardiology and neurology, endocrine and digestive disease, renal and pulmonary medicine, infectious diseases, hematology, oncology and rheumatology. Lectures combine clinical updates with diagnostic and treatment questions relevant to internists, hospitalists, primary care clinicians and trainees.
The original virtual conference ran June 8–12, 2026. Its complete daily agenda, speakers and original learning objectives are retained below for study planning. The schedule describes the source activity, rather than confirming every supplied recording; live participation, faculty interaction and Columbia’s provider-hosted access are not included with the store’s files.
Official Program Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of the original activity, participants should be better able to:
- Discuss current evidence-based clinical practice guidelines for important core competency topics in internal medicine.
- Apply contemporary knowledge and clinical skills to daily medical practice.
- Identify optimal management recommendations for commonly encountered diseases.
- Diagnose and manage medical conditions frequently encountered in hospital and outpatient settings.
- Review state-of-the-art developments across the major fields of internal medicine.
